MeetReady Terms of Use

1. Provider

MeetReady is provided by HAIKOTEK COMPANY LIMITED (CÔNG TY TNHH HAIKOTEK), business registration number 0318449407, address 44/24A Truong Phuoc Phan Street, Neighborhood 1, Binh Tri Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Contact: info@haikotek.com.

2. What MeetReady is

MeetReady is an iOS and Android app made of an encrypted vault for passwords, environment variables, links and notes, plus meeting preparation tools: a Meeting Kit for each event in your calendar, post-meeting notes, tasks and reminders. MeetReady does not record, does not join your meetings and does not connect to your accounts at other services. MeetReady does not hold your money.

3. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older and have legal capacity. You are responsible for your device, your operating system and everything you store in the vault, including your right to store and use information about your clients or your company.

4. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use MeetReady on devices you own or may lawfully use, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. You may not copy it for distribution, sell it, rent it or reverse engineer it, except where the law expressly allows. Open-source libraries in the app are under their own licences (see the licenses page).

iOS app. Unless we agree otherwise, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies together with these terms. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to maintain or support MeetReady; we handle any claim about the app (defects, consumer rights, intellectual property). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of that agreement.

Android app. Download, updates and payment follow Google Play’s terms.

5. The encrypted vault and the recovery key

The vault is encrypted on your device and we do not have the key. You are responsible for remembering your master password and keeping your 12-word recovery key safe. If you forget the password and lose all 12 recovery words, we cannot reopen or recover the vault. You are also responsible for keeping your backups and exported files.

6. AI and your own key (BYOK)

AI features are optional. Built-in templates run on the device. If you use your own key with an AI provider, the app asks for your explicit consent before the first request; the agreement, fees and data handling are between you and that provider, and the data goes straight from your phone to them, not through Haikotek. The app’s hard filter lowers the chance of a secret being sent but is not an absolute guarantee; preview the content before sending. AI output can be wrong; check it before you rely on it.

7. Paid plans and auto-renewal

The core of MeetReady is free (limited to 3 active workspaces and 3 backup versions). MeetReady Pro unlocks the features listed in the app and on the pricing page. You buy through the App Store or Google Play as an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, possibly with a 14-day free trial. The plan name, length, price and trial are shown on the purchase screen and in the store before you confirm; the store price is the price that applies.

• Payment. The charge is made to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal. The plan renews for the same length unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. With Apple, the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trial. If a plan has a free trial, it converts to paid and you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Manage and cancel. You manage or cancel at any time in your store account settings after purchase. On iPhone: how to cancel with Apple. On Android: how to cancel on Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the plan.
• Price changes. If the price changes, the store notifies you and asks for your consent where the store’s rules require it; if you do not agree, the plan does not renew.
• Restore purchases. Pro is tied to the Apple ID or Google account that bought it. On a new phone, tap “Restore purchases” on the Pro screen.
• When a plan ends. Pro features lock. Your data stays on your phone and you can still export the vault as an HPV1 file for free. Anything over the Free limits (workspaces, backup versions) is handled as the app describes at that point.

8. Refunds

Apple or Google processes payment and decides refunds; we do not receive your money and cannot refund directly. See how to ask: Apple, Google Play. If you struggle, write to us and we will help you pass the request on. When a store refunds a transaction, the matching plan access may be revoked. This does not remove the consumer rights the law gives you.

9. Gift and promo codes

• A code is single-use per redemption, has no cash value, is non-refundable and expires on the date shown with the code or offer.
• On iPhone, Apple promo codes are redeemed in the App Store. On Android, Google Play codes are redeemed in Google Play. MR-… codes sent directly by Haikotek (Android) are entered in the app on the Pro screen.
• Do not resell codes. We may revoke a code, or plan access that came from it, in case of fraud or abuse or when the store refunds the original transaction.

10. What you may not do

• Use MeetReady for anything unlawful, or store information you have no right to store.
• Try to break or reverse engineer the encryption, or access anyone else’s data.
• Overload, probe or attack our server, or create fake codes or transactions to get a plan without paying.

11. Not advice

MeetReady is a preparation and note-taking tool. Content you enter or AI generates is not legal, financial or security advice. Ask a professional when you need one.

12. Ownership

MeetReady, its name, logo and interface belong to HAIKOTEK COMPANY LIMITED. The data you enter stays yours. We process data only as the Privacy Policy describes.

13. Limit of liability

MeetReady is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss from losing your phone together with your master password and recovery words, from your use of AI output or of the AI provider you choose, or from events beyond our reasonable control, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for MeetReady in the 12 months before the event. This does not exclude or limit liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

14. Changes and ending the service

We may update these terms or retire a feature. For important changes we say so in the app or in the release notes. You can always export your data as an HPV1 file. You may stop using MeetReady at any time; we may end your right to use it if you seriously breach these terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. We prefer to resolve disputes by negotiation; failing that, they go to the competent court in Vietnam.
